Viet Nam. Do you know that country ?

A friend of mine used to work as chef in a hotel on one of the islands there (I can't remember the name) and he said that it was one of the most beautiful places he has ever been to. When his three year contract expired he didn't want to leave it. So it is definitely on my list. By the way, is it true that "nam" means "south" and "viet" - "wandering people"? If it does, I find it kind of mysterious -The wandering people of the south.

Special things that you can't ignore that the woman in my country are so beautiful, especially who dressed " ao dai " with palm- leaf conical hat..

..Have you ever watch American Master Cheft????? One of the latest winner, whose name is Christine Ha`. She is an American of Vetnamese. Almost the food she cooked in that competition were from Viet Nam... My country is very proud of her ..... She had a real talent although she is blind...

Those are not all about my country. If you come, you'll see more and more interesting thing that you never forget......

In my opinion, maybe, the name of that hotel is " Imperial ", it's located in Vung Tau city.
About " Viet Nam " The " Nam" means " south" => That's exactly!!!

. There're many supposition to explain that. One of them is: " Viet Nam " is creat from two element racial and geographic. According to encyclopodia, in the past, there was an ethnic people lived in the South of China, then strong army of Han Chinese had attack and occupied their area. The other survivor people have to escaped to the forest in the South and found a new place to live. After that, they decided to change into "Viet" means from the North move to the South to settle. From that point, through many dynasty, we have " Viet Nam" like nowaday.
