Honorable Mr. Hirotaka Omata,
It’s a pleasant surprise to receive your letter which my principal passed to me. Let me introduce myself to you first. My name is I-Ho Chang, and I’m teaching at Yangmei Junior High School, Taoyuan City in northern Taiwan. The subjects I teach are computer and English, which is my second expertise. In addition, I am a homeroom teacher of Class 702 (in Class Two, Grade Seven).
After reading your letter, I know that you are interested in the geography, history, humanity and culture of Yangmei area. I would like to present my appreciation to you on behalf of the school. I have enclosed herewith the publications and CD-Rom of my school, hoping to offer help to you in understanding my school and Yangmei area. The CD-Rom contains a file of briefing material, made my me, about the historical, geographical culture of Yangmei area.
Last spring, I took my family to Japan to go on the trip of Cherry Blossom Festival from April 1 to April 5. We visited Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and Osaka. The amazing "cherry blossom rain" offered a romantic background for my photos. Furthermore, Kyoto’s sublime and blissful beauty, Nara’s seasonal natural beauty, Kobe’s beautiful natural diversity, and Osaka’s flourishing business and culture left behind us wonderful and impressive memories.
Thanks again for your enthusiasm and friendship, dedicating to promote cultural-exchange program between both schools.
Best regards
Sincerely yours I-Ho Chang
