I would be delighted if someone could let me know, whether "the" should be followed by "cultural diversity" in the following sentence which talks about a specific country. The reason that I wanted to ask this question is that though my instinct say that we should use "the" as we know what cultural diversity about that we are going to talk about, the grammar checker states that I should remove it.
Furthermore, I would like to talk about the cultural diversity / cultural diversity among the inhabitants of our country.
In my opinion it's acceptable with or without 'the'. Personally I would not include 'the', but that's just a matter of personal taste. CJ
