Are these two below OK?

1. There is too big a crowd in my house

2. Did you pass to the next grade?
Yes.

You might also say 'There are too many people in my house'.

And more often 'Are you going to go to the next grade?', 'Did you make it to the next grade?'

They look fine to me.
