Cross-cultural VS Inter-cultural VS International

Hi, Can you please help me with the following questions?

1. I want to say that traveling to different countries will expand my ...
intercultural experience?
OR international experience?
OR cross-cultural experience?
I can't make up mind mind on which one is better in this context.

2. I also wish to say that traveling helps to improve your knowledge about the cultures and peoples, is there a word for this knowledge about different peoples and life styles? a word like worldview or a very bad example: cosmology ?

If you have better choice of words for these two sentences, please let me know.

Many many thanks.
