Crop out this wire on the floor.

Hi

Is this dialogue natural?

David: Could you crop out this wire on the floor? It looks so unsanitary.

Photographer: If I crop this out, children's feet will be cropped out too.

David. Let it be.

(let it be = let the feet be cropped)

Thanks,

Tom

I don't know what you mean by "unsanitary". Use " the children's feet" since we are talking about specific children (the ones in the photo). Use "So be it" instead of "Let it be".

Hi

It sounds OK to me. As I understand it, two people are talking about a photo of children. However, there is some electrical cable at the bottom of the picture, which looks ugly or unsafe (I don't think that 'unsanitary' is the right word there)

To remove part of a picture with a computer application is to 'crop it out'. However, when you do that, you lose other parts of the pic
