Vocabulary

crooked legs

Hi everybody!

I'm writing an article in one of those magazines for women. The target audience speaks AE.
Could you, please, help me with the following:

Crooked legs.
Bandy legs
Knock-knee

Does these phrases sound offensive? Does they sound more like medical terms? Does they make sense to EA ears?

Thanks in advance

Top answer

Crooked legs just sounds weird. Bandy legs sounds medical. Knock-kneed sounds quite old-fashioned.

It's not like YOU NEED A SURGERY TO FIX 'EM. It's more about wearing the right clothes to hide some minor di

Hi GG,

Knock-kneed sounds quite old-fashioned.
Oh dear, what should I say, then?

(In the unlikely event that I was foolhardy enough to say anything at all about this.)
