I'm looking for a better word to say this:
Why are the bodies of zombies in modern movies always crooked/wry/lopsided..?
These are just some of my own examples I came up with to give you an idea of what I'm trying to say.

If they are arranged in strange, awkward positions, then use grotesque, bizarre, distorted, contorted or convoluted.
