Criminals re-offend after they been punished

Please help me to fix my essay. Thank you so much

Many criminals re-offend after they have been punished. Why do some people continue to commit crimes after they have been punished, and what measured can be taken to tackle this problems?

My essay:

There is a current distressing situation that some prisoners re-offend when they are released. In this essay, i would discuss several precusors to this issue before some viable measures are drawn.

There is no shadow of doubt that this phenomenon could be attributed to several plausible reasons. A prominent factor could be that a criminal record make finding a job more difficult. As a consequence, they fail to earn money for living. Moreover, prison punishment also sits at the core of the problem. In fact, prison punishment could make prisoner's behavior worse because they are put together. This lead to that after being released they make friends with other offenders.

Measures must be taken by governments and international body to resolve this practice. Firstly, the aim of prisons is rehabilitations therefore they must receive educational or vocational skills. At the same time, it is prisoner who have to learn personal skills as well as specific job skills. Secondly, fine punishment is only used for minor crimes but should the crime is more serious, not prison but capital is the most common punishment. It impact not only criminals but also people in community. Indeed, fear of the death penalty stops people from committing offences.

In conclusion, backside is really a chronic headache for human being in the civillized society, which deteriorates the quality of life of both the individuals and the community in the long run. There is no single solution, it is required that the government and the parties involved have to commit all their heart and soul to tackling the issue
