I have a very important question for you regarding my resume. A little background, I am looking for jobs in the graphic design/web design fields. In my summary, where I describe myself, I have written.......
"Determined, goal oriented creative with proven ability to thrive....."
My question is in regards to the word creative. Now I know "creative" is an adjective which would mean I should add a comma after goal oriented. However, I want to use creative as a noun (which I don't think I can do). I feel that I often hear people talk about creatives as in artistic people. Thoughts.

Hi,
'Creative'as a noun is not a term commonly found in a resume. The majority of people who read your sentence are going to see it as an adjective, and think you have punctuation problems.
It would be more clearly a noun if you added an article, eg "(I am) a determined, goal oriented creative with proven ability to thrive....."

Do so if you wish but, as I have advised you, there's a risk that people may not understand your meaning. Resumes should be easy to understand.

I think that as long as you are using it in that context, where people are sometimes called 'creatives' it should be understood. I would still think about re-phrasing it though, just in case it goes through an HR department who are not familiar with it being used in that sense.
