craft an offer

Someone crafted an offer.

Does it mean sb. presented an offer?

Is it a common usage of 'craft'? (i.e. would people say 'craft an offer' often?)

Thanks,

Hello M2L

I'd agree with Benita: to 'craft' an offer is to put together an offer in a way that makes it seem especially attractive to the buyer.

It's the kind of phrase salespeople might use among themselves. It would not be tactful to use it in front of a prospective buyer.

Yes MrP is right! It would not be nice to use this word with clients.
