Cracked mirror distorted reflection

Would someone tell me if the sentences reqd well and are correct?

Why does a broken mirror, even if glued together, would still show a distorted reflection?

I'm just wondering, what happens to it that once broken, it is ruined permanently.

He looked in the cracked mirror and his face was looked distorted.

if an edge is not quite together it will in turn make a magnifier affect on the other part to give many distorted looks.

Thanks
