CPE listening question

Hello,

Could someone please help me with this listening question from Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English 2.

You hear part of an interview with a balloonist talking about his career.

1. What impression does the interviewer gain from reading the balloonist's book?

A. He aimed to become rich.
B. He was only interested in having fun.
C. He has turned a fantasy into reality.

Transcript:

Interviewer: Reading your book about your career exploits, I have to say it does sound to me as if you've done what a lot of kids dream of, and managed to make a living out of, let's face it, larks, high spirits. It's a kin to having he nerve to go to a company and ask for a million pouinds to go on holiday.
Balloonist: It's been wonderful.

The interviewer says you've done what a lot of kids dream of. Isn't that akin to turning a fantasy into reaility? The correct answer according to the key is B and not C.
