CPE College Proposal

Hello, I have been exploring these forums for some time now and have found this initiative quite noble, if I may say so. Therefore, I would be obliged if anyone could correct this CPE proposal I've written in response to the following question:
"Your college has been given funding to improve its leisure and sports facilities for students. The college principal has asked people to send in proposals on how the money can be best spent. In your proposal comment on the present facilities, and make recommendations and extending them. Write your proposal."

Introduction

This proposal outlines how funding can be allocated to expand the leisure and sports facilities in our college. I have identified present problems and possible solutions and would appreciate contributing with my ideas to help.

Background

My realisation of the need for improvement first came during last year's Christmas Eve festival. At the time, I was wondering how come we were able to hold such an event without music. Even more, our lack of electronic speakers make it impossible to communicate effectively with everyone at the same time. In addition, people were stuck to the same activities due to the present state of our pitch, which would not allow us to go further than playing basketball - with only one basket! Then it dawned on me that all of these problems could be worked out in order to provide students with the leisure they deserve.

Suggestions

With technology and design in mind, I have come to the conclusion that there is an urgent need to make our libraries more interesting, since they are presently regarded as a place of boredom and obligation. This could be done by introducing videogames to the place and awarding the most avid readers with hours of play. As to our sound possibilities, I suggest the installation of regular speakers in each hall and larger ones in the auditorium, thus enabling us to conduct music shows and spread information. Our pitch needs to have its basket fixed. Another truly substantial achievement would be to construct a swimming pool nearby, contributing to the variety of activities and fitting in perfectly with the players's necessities to cool down after a match. Moreover, the addition of a cinema might prove fruitful during festivals and classes.

Conclusion

Finally, I have conducted a viability study and concluded that all of these suggestions are financially within our reach. They are bound to bring about desirable changes and enable the holding of successful future events, as well as more worthwhile experiences during classes.
