Grammar

coward functioning as noun or cowardly adverb.

Her dad saw the young kid kissing her younger daughter. And The young kid went as fast as he could. Her father said, " That would be coward/cowardly ".

Questions

Are the above setences correct ? If the sentence( can you use " that " as subject in the setence ?) in the quotation is correct, what is difference between " coward " and " cowardly" in the sentence ?

Does " that " need to captialize ?

Is the period inside or outside the quotation ?

Thanks

Her dad saw the young kid kissing her younger daughter. And The young kid went as fast as he could. Her father said, " That would be coward/cowardly How many people do we have here, three or four?

  • Her dad saw the young kid kissing her younger daughter.
  • And The young kid went as fast as he could.
  • Her father said, " That would be coward/cowardly How many people do we have here, three or four?
  • And what are their relationships?
  • Perhaps I could simplify the sentences a bit first: Her dad saw the young kid kissing her, and the kid ran away as fast as he could.

coward doesn't function as an adverb, thus can't be used here as you wanted.
but e.g.
strong=strongly could.
