Covering letter for internship
Please can you check for grammar and spelling mistakes

I am writing to express my interest for the summer [internship position] advertised on [site] on [date]. I am keen to work for a company with a great reputation and high profile in [state which industry] such as [company name]. I am able to take on the responsibility of this position immediately, and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it.
I expect to graduate in May 2017 attaining a 2:1 classification in BA Accounting and Finance. My main interest lies in financial accounting, reporting and corporate finance. I have a particular interest in keeping up to date on latest changes to accounting standards, business relations and economic changes. One of my fond interests is in newspapers, with The Economist being one of my current favorites.
I have an enormous capacity for work, and I believe this is my main strength. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I have had extensive vacation work experience in the retail sector and service industries, giving me varied skills and the ability to work with many different types of people. I believe I could fit easily into your team and be a valuable asset to you as I have excellent team working skills shown from a particular young age from being involved in many extra curricular activities and sports. My competitiveness, with my added team skills ensures that not only me, but also my work colleges are working above the standards set.
Taking this into consideration, I truly believe having the right mindset outweighs having the right skills. Of course having the right skills is important, and I believe I do possess these skills characteristics due to the nature of my degree, however I feel that having the right mindset is essential for the long term. To elaborate, I believe that skills can always be taught and improved, whereas having the right mindset is implemented in us through how we deal with our experiences and how we are brought up. With this in mind, I’d like you to consider one last thing. I may not necessary be the best candidate on paper, but I can assure you that a month down the line in the workplace environment, if you were to compare me to someone who is more academically bright, I would most definitely outshine due to my self motivation, confidence, attitude and eagerness to learn and implement.
