Hi everyone!
I am trying to write a covering letter for a translation internship in an international organization and I would like someone to correct it and brush it up since this is the first time I write one and I am not confident.
My covering letter starts by "Dear Sir or Madam", but I do not know if this is the proper way to start with provided that I am adressing to an international organization.
Thanks in advance for your help

My covering letter:
Dear Sir or Madam,
After reviewing the internship description on your website, I know this position is an excellent match for my interest in translation and communication, along with the values that Interpol portrays. My first-hand knowledge will allow me to enrich the work and the outlook of this professional organization.
I am currently a student at Seville University, in Spain, pursuing a degree in Translation and Interpreting, with a specialization in English and French. In order to broaden my experience in the field of translation, I participated in the UNV Online Volunteering Service. Owing to this opportunity, I established a first contact with the scope of responsibilities of an international organization.
Last year I was awarded an Erasmus grant at Lessius Hogeschool, Antwerp. I enrolled in subjects related to translation and project management, for which I had to complete several group activities with people from all over Europe. It was through this experience that I became aware of my passion for diversity and teamwork and that I learned about the importance of mutual understanding and tolerance.
Being an inquisitive and precise person enables me to communicate with cultural insight and to solve problems effectively. For this reason, I am looking for this opportunity to develop these skills further and to learn more about the core values of this international organization. I am convinced that the knowledge acquired through this opportunity will support me in continuing my professional career.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Macarena.
