Covered with bodies/covered in bodies

"Anonymous" answered to a previous post of mine referring to "covered with/covered in":

I ask this "anonymous" to reply.

Why is it possible to say: The floor was covered in bodies.

But why isn't it possible to say: The floor was covered with bodies.

Can you explain it, please?
