Letter Writing

Cover letter part-(please help me correct this, thank you)

Dear Director of Hiring:

I’m writing in response to the advertisement in WorleyParsons` website for a Mechanical Engineer position. Your company really has an impressive EPCM program and I am very interested to work for it. I will get my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University in May of 2012. I am willing to have an opportunity to discuss this job with you before that time.

During my college years, I not only have built solid foundation of engineering theories and knowledge. But also I have developed the ability of learning new things quickly, analyzing, and problem-solving skills. I also am proficient with engineering softwares, such as Pro-E and Matlab.

In addition to the knowledge from my education, my experiences of being the student supervisor in the Dining service have enhanced my communication, leadership, and time management skills. In my sophomore year I was the core member of Learning Chinese association where I gained the experience of teaching and team work co-operation.

I hope you could consider my resume which has more details about me.

Thank you for your consideration. I really look forward to speaking with you.
