Cover letter on English language proficiency

Question

Hi,
In order to be accepted into the university I am applying to, I have send in English language proficiency proof. Preferably by IELTS or TOEFL results, but it is also possible to write a cover letter explaining why I think I shouldn't have to.......

Could you check this out and tell me if you think it's ok? I would appreciate it !!

To whom it may concern

As all non-native students must demonstrate their English proficiency in order to get accepted into (***) University, I kindly ask you to exempt me from sending in IELTS or TOEFL results, and treating this letter as proof that I am a fluent English speaker.

From my youngest years I have been brought up in an English speaking society.
Since the age of 5 I have attended an Australian primary public school in Sydney.
I have learnt English the natural way, but going to school and playing with other Australian kids. I believe young children learn languages the fastest, and I have been lucky enough to have the benefit of learning good English this way.

Later on I have lived in (***) where I have attended the International School of (***).
I have improved my English in all academic matters. I have learnt problem solving and critical thinking, English has become the language in which I learned to think in.
As a main language at high school level, it is also been the language in which i have done all my high school exams, that I have passed with good results.
I believe that, even tho my mother tongue is (***), I should be treated as a native English speaker.

I kindly ask you to look over this matter and exempt me from sending in other proof of language proficiency.

its better you show some authorised person of your college/univ to write for u.that letter should describe the medium and format of education

Could you please read the following essay and provide suggestions. I need to prove I have good command of english by writing an essay.
I would appretiate it.

I am XYZ, a Ph. D. scholar at XX department, XX University, USA. I would like to present the proof of my English proficiency through my academic as well as professional career.

Even though my mother tongue is not English I learned English from my youngest years. I completed my high school from a XX school and English is a compulsory subject in the curriculum. I passed SLC exam in the first division and then, joined XX institute, XX University for intermediate in abc subject. I completed my undergraduate and master’s degree from the Institute. I studied all the courses in English and passed with good scores. Medium of instructions in the institute was English for all the courses in undergraduate and graduate degree. I have enclosed a copy of English proficiency certificate for your reference.

During my masters degree I worked in collaboration with abc research center for my thesis research. During the period I had responsibility of reporting research progress to that council regularly and communicating International scientists who come to visit my research. Many international visiting Scientists and Professors frequently conducted lectures and research seminars in English. I was very much exposed in such academic and research environment that helped to improve my ability in learning, communicating, and studying in English.

From 2004 I worked as a ZZ in XX organization for four and half years. During the tenure, my duties were to write research proposals, conduct research experiments, train technicians, write research reports, articles and give oral presentations in workshops, seminars and meetings. English was the primary language to perform these activities. In addition, I published research articles in peer reviewed journals.

I started doctorate degree in XX subject in the PP department, SA University, on spring 2009. this requires English proficiency and I had the required English proficiency. I have attached I-20 issued by University showing I have required English proficiency. I took IELTS (Academic module) test before getting admission to the university and the score report has been attached herewith. So far I completed about 2/3^rd Ph. D. courses with cumulative GPA 4.000. I have enclosed a letter from graduate school showing my cumulative GPA for your reference. I have been working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the same department. I compiled my research and presented at several meetings and seminars. Since living in English speaking society, going to school, talking with native speakers, I believe I have improved my English in all aspects.

I am very confident that I can apply the knowledge of English with the highest proficiency in , Listening, Speaking and Writing. My academic and professional career, as described above, provide evidences.

To the best of my knowledge and belief, the information provided in this document is true and correct.

It's not a bad essay.

I'm reluctant to comment further, because I think the whole point of this is to show the university your own English skills. Isn't that the case?

To Whom It May Concern,

Just wondering if you can give me an example on how to write a confirmation letter that I will be exempted in an EILTS test. I have upgraded my qualifications that the English country needed. I have passed all the requirements they needed. I am also a citizen of this English country for nearly a decade.

The people of the community where I live said that, my English is at average level and that I can communicate in both spoken and written form at a professional level with students, parents and colleagues and in other educational professionals.

Hello,
The first thing you describe your secondary education and the language instruction followed by your achievements in English as a subject and further describe if you hired a teacher or coach for your English as secondary language. Describe and proved them that you are a good in reading and writing and speaking in English. Describe your language instruction while studied in university and your achievement in learning, your books, reference materials, thesis, field work, research papers etc..

Currently I am working as wellsite specialist, I have been providing professional services to many client, contractor and employers. I generate reports from engineering data, study and research geological maps, structural and isopach maps, write reports and submitted to Professional Geoscientists. I also generate geological strip logs for the exploration and production wells. I submitted daily and detailed reports to my supervisors. I also involve in daily routine communications with Directional drilling personals, project managers and geoscientists.
