I have recently decided to apply for some research trainee positions in United States.I absolutely have no experience in doing such tasks.Here is one of my cover letters.I hope I could receive your kind attention and guide.Thanks.

I am very excited about the opening for the post of Research Trainee in cardiovascular diseases department in your highly esteemed organization,YY, and pleased to submit my application for this position. I am certain my education and work experience in medicine, besides my enthusiasm for internal medicine and especially cardiovascular diseases will help me to become your knowledgeable trainee.
I obtained my M.D. degree from YY University of Medical sciences; XX.WW. I am currently working as emergency room physician in YY Azerbaijan hospital;XX, Iran.
I have knowledge and understanding to plan the research work. Besides being an organized person, I understand the importance of a team-coordination in the research work and take care to avoid any communication gap while working. During years of education and work, I have also gained skills to establish strong rapport with patients and their families.
Although I will be a fresher in this job, I can confidently say that I have a sound and extensive knowledge about using medical equipment and interpreting test results. I am also very interested in learning more about tests and equipment, especially in the field of cardiology.
