I am writing to you to express my interest in completing a three-to-four month internship in your company, starting June 2009.

The opportunity to develop valuable skills in an environment that will inform and enrich my entire career is very appealing to me and fits well with my expectations about the starting point of my career in the field of global *** markets, for which I have strong enthusiasm.

Currently, I am studying in the fifth semester of the seven semester bachelor degree programme '*** and ***' at the University of *** Sciences in ***, France. In addition to my *** courses, I have acquired skills in ***, ***, *** and ***. I gained a University grant by being in the upper 10% of the students in 2007/2008. With minimal training and willingness to work hard, I expect to contribute significantly as a part of your team.

Apart from my regular curriculum, I was a tutor for the course '***' for 2 semesters. This enabled me to gain training and coaching skills as well as the ability to work on my own initiative or as part of a team.

I am looking forward to applying the knowledge from my academic studies to any projects and duties assigned to me during my internship, and to achieving the best possible results and solutions. I am convinced that my analytical and conceptual skills will make me an asset to your department.I hope that my language skills, including French, English and German will be a considerable plus for COMPANY.
