I'd like to mention in a cover letter for an overseas job application that I've already planned to be visiting the country in a certain period, so that in case the employer would like to meet me it could be convenient for both parties to schedule a meeting during that time. So I am looking for a way to inform them of my presence in the country, without sounding presumptuous; as they might not even be interested in interviewing me!
How does this sound: Without intending to sound presumptuous, I would like to inform you of my presence in [country] from [date] to [date], so that in case you are interested in meeting me it could be convenient to schedule a meeting then, if at all possible for you.
Other suggestions would be appreciated too! Many thanks.
