Cover letter for Erasmus
Hello,
I'm applying for an exchange place in England.
Would somebody be kind enough to review the language in my cover letter? I am French speaking.

Here is the letter:
Dear Mr XXX
I am pleased to write to you to apply for the exchange program for the 2014-2015 academic year. I am currently studying with the language combination French-English-German.
My wish is to spend two semesters at a British university. The opportunity of improving my English appeals to me a lot since I have rather been concentrating on learning German and Italian in the past years. However, I spent a month in Cambridge in 2010 and would be happy to go back to England.
The University of Bristol was the one to catch my attention because of its Department of Religion and Theology. Indeed, it offers a module called “Clash of Religion: Christianity and Islam” that I would find very interesting to learn about major religions that shape people’s world view and play an important role in political actuality. I would also like to take a course in the Department of Italian during the electives module, hoping to ad this language to my combination for the Master’s degree. Besides, the city of Bristol attracts me for its active student and cultural life. Lastly, the fact that the University isn’t far from the center would allow me to go on tutoring high school students in foreign languages, which I have been doing for three years, and baby-sitting without bothering too much with the transports.
My second and third choices are University of Sussex and University of Southampton. I think southern cities are a great place to learn standard English. University of Sussex has a Department of Italian, and both Universities provide history courses, which I am interested in.
Being a hard-working and enthusiastic student, I very much hope to be nominated for a place in one of these universities.
