Hello! Can somebody take a look at my cover letter and check whether it is good enough.
"I would like to apply for a summer job/position in the field of Economics, Marketing & Administration at XXX.
I came to know about this offer from your company website and from several career fairs including AAA and BBB, which took place at the YYY in 2008 and 2009.
I would like to work in XXX because I believe it is a great opportunity to use my knowledge and skills efficiently, that would help me gain a valuable experience in a leading telecommunication company.
I came across a number of positive testimonials from friends working at XXX and their impression of the company motivated me to become a part of the friendly and exciting working environment.
Originally from ZZZ, I have been studying in XXX since August 2007. Currently I am a first year Masters student at XXX at the CCC programme. Although I am a technically-oriented student, I am open to new experiences and I raise my curiosity to explore myself in different fields.

Aside from my regular studies, I have completed several Cisco Academy courses and a number of stand alone courses to strengthen my understanding in different areas of IT. I am fairly successful in my studies at XXX and I am constantly working to improve my skills, both professional and interpersonal. I have a strong focus on personal development and therefore I am open for new challenges. I realise the importance of psychological factor and positive mindset at work, and I try to find motivation in any activity that I am undertaking.
On a personal level, I enjoy communicating with people, learning languages, travelling and exploring new cultures. I believe that I am an easy-going and open-minded person; I can work in a team, and in fact, I like it a lot.

I look forward to putting my knowledge into practice at XXX.
Thank you for considering my candidature.
Yours faithfully,"
Thank you very much in advance! James
