Cover letter
Hello, I would really appreciate your help with this cover letter for a non-profit organization. They are looking for somebody who would assist in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of fundraising strategies and private sector fundraising activities through donor retention activities.

Dear Sir or Madam,
As I strongly believe in the importance of XXX’s mission in creating positive societal changes, I would like to have an opportunity to contribute by applying for the position of a Fund Raising Assistant.
Currently working as an office assistant I get to develop my organizational and computer competencies while handling different assignments. Moreover, being part of a multinational team in my previous role as well as interacting with passengers from diverse backgrounds helped me to build excellent interpersonal and communication skills and to widen my perspectives.
My training and work experience in such a competitive industry brought me a great understanding of how engagement with customers and showing true and constant appreciation of their loyalty boosts the company’s income. I would be very enthusiastic to use this knowledge in motivating the donors to keep supporting your organization.
Being of service to others was not only a vital part of my job, but something I thoroughly enjoyed in doing. This led me to volunteer for “XXX”, an organization which uses most of its donations for education of displaced children. I have always believed that investing in children’s wellbeing and education is investing in a healthier, more prosperous and stable society. Being dedicated to this cause as well as people and business oriented, would be my greatest motivation and asset to successfully assist your fundraising department.
