Cover Letter

Hello mates,

Here is my cover letter – I am applying for a job in the UK.

.............................................

Dear Mr Garon,

Please accept my application for a position as an architect with the company you are recruiting candidates for.

I have been working in the Built Environment sector for eleven years and during this period I have taken part in wide variety of projects. Due to I am often given the leadership of the project teams I work with, I have developed considerable skills in overseeing projects, coordinating different project disciplines, corresponding with investors, contractors and suppliers. Having been working for one of the biggest design companies in Bulgaria – Planning EOOD, I am used to working on immense project, most of them international investments.

Along with my knowledge of office and building design software, I have experience in developing and managing CAD, BIM and general corporate standards. Furthermore, the corporate standard that I developed for Planning EOOD in 2010 became a basis for obtaining ISO 9001 certificate.

I have nine years of experience working with Autodesk Revit and I have been using it as primary building software for six years. I was part of the team that integrated Autodesk Revit in Planning EOOD workflow, and I am currently responsible for the Revit team of the company.

After eleven years working in the Built Environment sector in Bulgaria, I consider myself experienced enough to work abroad, and mind the fact that visiting England is something I want to fulfill for a long time, I decided to apply for the job you are offering. I spare no effort to have the tasks I am given done and I believe my experience and qualification will meet your requirements.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Respectfully

Ivan Kyurkchiyski
