Cover letter

Is this part of my cover letter written correctly?

I am passionate about development of efficient enzyme based pre-treatment technology which can isolate hemicellulose from raw material in order to get higher valued products. Also, evaluate the activity relationship of hemicellulose structure (with different side groups) to see whether or not we are able to utilize this product in industry.
