HI,
I need help help with my cover letter. Could anybody check it (grammar, syntax etc.) and maybe write me some tips. Thank you in advance
Dear Sir or Madame,
in response to the announcement advertised on XYZ website, I would like to apply for an internship in Division of Marketing. I am a graduate in XYZ (MA, University) and XYZ (MA, University), who has some experience and success in communication field.
The first stop in my career was winning the competition for an internship in the XYZ. With this experience, I had the opportunity not only to gain a lot of useful skills, but it also confirmed my belief that the chosen career path is right. After graduation I began an internship at the XYZ where I could learn from some of the best specialists in the field of public relations. My knowledge, skills and commitment were appreciated, so I was hired as an assistant in the Department of XYZ in XYZ company, which brings together two agencies XYZ and XYZ. In my new position I was responsible for working with research institutions, sourcing partners and patronage to reports, and running press office of the two above mentioned companies.
In the period from February to May I independently managed the press office, which so far has been my greatest professional challenge. It taught me to keep a proactive communication, effective time management and allowed me to have a better understanding of the specific work with media. Now I am ready to take on new challenges, which will contribute to the development of my career.
