Cover letter
I have written a cover letter for a job. I am not sure weather it is correctly grammatically, ethically and spelling wise. I am pasting the body of the letter below. You feedback is will be important to me.
I am sending my resume in application for the position of Computer Support Specialist Job reference no. JBXXXXXX, as advertised on XYZ website.
I recently worked with the IT operations in College of the North Atlantic Qatar as a consultant on the project of Windows 7 deployment campus wide from XXXXXX- XXXXXX. I graduated from CNA-Q in Information System Hardware (ISH) program in XXX by completing it in two years. During my stay in the college, I also worked as IT student assistant in the school of IT from XXXXX- XXXX.
I have achieved technical certifications from Microsoft (MCSE) and Cisco (CCNA), the two leading venders in IT industry, which is recommended in the skills requirement for this position. I have worked as IT officer in a private firm for five months after achieving technical certifications.
I am self-motivated, efficient and experienced IT hardware/networking professional with more than three years of experience in the field of IT and I believe my strengths, skills, knowledge and experience makes me a perfect fit for this position.
I would like the opportunity to meet and discuss how I can contribute to the productivity of your institute.
