Cover letter

Hi everyone, I'm applying for a job as a receptionist/sales assistant.
could you please have a look at my cover letter and let me know if it sounds good enough?
thanks in advance!

To whom it may concern,

Regarding your offer advertising a position reception/sales assistant, I would hereby like to apply for the aforementioned job.

My name is XXXXX , I am 29 years old and I graduated from the university of XXXX, with a Master's degree in History of Art. I am an Italian native speaker, I have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, and make use of these skills daily.
Currently I collaborate with the international art magazine “XXXX”, translating from English to Italian; I also worked abroad on various occasions and from July to September 2011 I taught Italian in XXXXX.

I have always enjoyed working with people, as one can gather from my former experience; interacting with the public is a particular interest and skill of mine. At the same time I take advantage of being part of an international environment, where different people and opinions clash and fuse, all of which affords me an outgoing, honest and sociable outlook.
The school of languages atmosphere is attractive to me for these reasons but also because of the prospect of learning new skills in the administrative and marketing field and the high professional standards that distinguish your environment. I am very versatile, never turning down a challenge, and would love to be granted the opportunity to join your team.

Please find my CV attached and do not hesitate to contact me for any further information. I am available immediately.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Yours sincerely,

XXXX
