Cover letter
Hi,
I am a french student and I have to send a cover letter to google but I'm not sure if this letter is correct or not.Please read it and tell me what is wrong:
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am a young graduate of BA degree,I studied Maths and Finance and I started looking for an internship a few days ago to apply my academic knowledge in practice.While searching the internet using your search engine I was focusing on two criterions:to find a job in the Software sector and based in the Middle-East.The most dynamic sector in one of the most dynamic regions.It did not take me too much time to find your ad and as soon as I found it I decided to apply for the job.
I have studied Maths,Economics and Management in one of the most prestigious French universities .You are looking for a motivated,sharp-minded and fast thinking intern and I have all of these features.Maths brought me a real mental structure and strong analytical and logical skills allowing me to analyse a critical situation quickly enough to deduce an interpretation from it and then find the attitude to adopt while Economics and Management learned me the working of enterprise .
By being a tutor for highschool students I enhanced my ability to communicate and explain one concept by various ways depending on each person’s level of understanding. I could thus easily present and explain to both Sales team and clients the marketing plans and analysis I provide them with.
I have known and used Google products now for almost ten years, since I got my first computer and I kept up with their evolution with a great interest. In my opinion,Google Inc. is one of the most visionary,forward-looking companies,always imagining and conceiving new concepts and products before any other company (Google Earth,Google Instant,iGoogle,Adsense for example) and I think that I share this vision and these qualities and it would be a very exciting experience for me to join this aventure.
Moreover,the Middle-East sector has attracted me for many years now,it is a very dynamic region,in constant evolution,mixing occidental and oriental cultures,just like me.I traveled many times in Israel,Jordan and Qatar and I know the local cultures,ethical principles and expectations,consequently I could be the perfect candidate to help Google Sales team establish long-lasting and productive links with the clients in Dubaï.

Here is my correction. Dear Hiring Manager, I am a young graduate person of BA(avoiding redundancy) degree. It did not take me too much time to find your advertisement and as soon as I found it I decided to apply for the job.

- Maths brings me a real mental structure and(you should replace by ,) strong analytical and logical skills allowing me to analyse a critical situation quickly(must be quick) enough to deduce an interpretation from it and then find the attitude to adopt while Economics and Management learned me the working of enterprise .

I think your letter is good, but you have to concentrate on the agreement of everything such as: N and N, S and V ....Here is my correction.
