Thanks. According to the sentence it seems like a well-known phrase for stores, is it?

Hi,

Yes. Although there are plenty of stores that don't provide courteous service.

Hi,

Can you try? In what way are sales people polite in your culture?

Well, I know two kinds only: 1) Being polite with customers 2) in some areas free delivery.
I was wondered if there is other things that are unaccustomed to me. Just curious.

I don't know, it seems it is kind of special services. Like what? The only thing that I can imagine as a special service is free delivery, but if it is, I would say free delivery not courteous service. And being polite with customers is not a standard, it is depend to seller.

Hi,

Courteous service focuses mainly on simply being polite and attentive to the customers. Special services like free delivery are nice, but not what I think of when I read the phrase 'courteous service'.

Hi;

The opposite of courteous service is rude service.

In courteous service, the salespeople answer you with "please" and "thank you." They are respectful, and have the motto "the customer is always right." They respond to questions quickly. They give good and accurate information about their products. If a product you buy is defective, they will replace it quickly or refund you
