Court trouble

Hi

Does court trouble in the sense of 'invite trouble' sound natural? I am not sure but I heard something like this on BBC a couple of days ago.

Is this sentence OK?

I don't know why you're courting trouble.

Yes, it's fine; however, 'inviting trouble' and 'borrowing trouble' are also used. 'courting trouble' is more common than 'borrowing trouble' in BrE, and that's reversed in AmE.
