Court & observatories
Hi guys,
I need to know the best possible interpretations of the word "court" in those context below and "observatories".
I've tried to get some info about them online but it's so hard to figure the meaing out though.
My guess is this: for "court", it may mean a palace/ mansion/ courtyard, and for "observatories", an astronomical place/ a viewpoint/ a watchtower. Still don't know which one of those would be best...
Is there anybody who have some knowledge about the history of the city or who have some idea on this?

You might call them the royal person's close social and business associates. Such people are individually called 'courtiers', but collectively called 'the court'.

'Court' here refers not just to the place where a royal person lives and conducts his business, but more importantly to the people who spend their time at that place. You might call them the royal person's close social and business associates. Such people are individually called 'courtiers', but collectively called 'the court'.
