Courier/delivery?

I suposed that as soon as I came up with the title you know that I'm talking about is kind of the delivery service that quickly-deliver cutomers' parcels or mails with the fastest speed possible, using mostly aircrafit for shipping, and it is the fastest type of delivery service compared to lots of others, such as USPS.

What I'm asking about is that if there's any difference between the two terms I input in the title, both of which I suppose indicate the same services, such as FedEx and UPS.

I'm asking the question because I encounter the two sentences, "ship by delivery" and "deliver by courier",

equally much.

TIA

All I can tell you is that this one sounds nonsensical to me: "ship by delivery".

I actually put in the "the" before "kind." It needed something. Either "the" or "some" would work in this situation.

"I was talking about the kind of delivery service..."

"I was talking about some kind of delivery service..."

And yes to Mister, I think "ship by delivery" sounds odd to me as well, but if the original poster is encountering this often, it must be shippin
