coupon count vs coupons count

Hello,

Which form is correct:

coupon count

OR

couponS count

In other words when I say 'something count', should that something be singular or plural?

Thanks,

Singular is expected. Attributive nouns (nouns that come before other nouns to modify them) are usually singular in English. There are some exceptions, such as "arms race" or "sports hall", but these are very much in the minority.

Are you using "count" here as a noun or a verb? If you mean something like "Coupons have significance" then it would be "Coupons count."
