Couple of sentences need fixing please???
Could you help me fix these sentences if they need fixing
are the following correct?, which would you say?
1 There are 10 minutes left of the film.
There are 10 minutes left to/till the end of the film.

- Were they able to trace the call and locate us? YES They were able to trace the call and locate us within a 10 mile radius of here. (trying to say that they know where they are approximately they know that they are within a 10 mile radius of where they actually are? does that make sense?)
- They were able to narrow the trace down to within 15 miles from here/within a 15 mile radius of here.
- He knows where we are within a 10 mile radius of where we are being kept hostage. He doesn't know exactly yet. They need more time to pinpoint the location. (how would you say the bold bit?)

1. Although the verb 'locate' is acceptable the way you use it, in my mind it does not suggest the rather wide area [10 miles in any direction] encompassed by the trace. They have not located you. They only know that you are somewhere within an area of 315 square miles!
