counter argument

There was a case of counter argument between Tiny group and Miny group. Miny group said that Tiny group have robbed them. On the other hand, Tiny group said Miny group have cheated them. So I went over there and gave the both group a cooling-off period for 5 hours. I asked to both group to think about the issue and back again the same place after five hours. Obeying my request, both group off to their respective home. After five hours, they back again to the same place, and both group said they both had made mistakes, so I said to both groups that either of your group have made mistakes, so you both group would be punished by paying $5,000 to me. They agreed and gave me $5,000.

Please correct my setnences.
