Counter &

Hi everyone,

Is it correct to use the word 'counter' for meaning 'reception desk' in a hotel?
If it is, which word do you think is used the most? Counter? Reception desk? Front desk?

And how about the expression "the latest release movie"?
Is it correct?
If it is not, how can it be corrected?

If you could enjoy the latest movie in a hotel room with your money,
should it be called "pay service" or " paid service" ?

Thanks,
pb
