countable compound noun?

0Hi, Please correct the question if necessary, in addition to answering these. 02br

00If I remember correctly, I think CalifJim used this term in one of the his responding posts and wonder what that is. I googled and came up little.02br
02br
00I think he used the term when talking about the need for an article for the words "college education."02br
02br
00Also, do I need to back-shift for these? Can I safely assume that when "non-feeling" words are involved, back-shifting won't be necessary if the condition holds true?02br
02br
00I was told (non-feeling words, to me) that you are (no need for 'were'??)interested in buying my car. 02br
02br
00He sugggested the idea that you might be interested in buying my car. -- Not a good example. I think, since 'might' contains a sense of the past.0-
