Countable and Uncountable noun

Is anyone know why sky and star are count noun but money is uncountable noun?

Hello, sousamai — and welcome to English forums. Because there is only one sky and you can have 10 stars, but you can't have ( X ) '10 moneys' — you have 10 dollars, 10 euros or 10 dongs. 'Money' is a concept, a medium of financial transaction.
