Couldn't vs hasn't/haven't been able to

Imagine that I couldn't find the answer of a question, I can't still find it and I am still searching for it.

For this case,

1- I think I can say "I haven't been able to find the answer yet", is that right?

2- Can I also say "I couldn't find the answer yet"?
