Couldn't get myself/couldn't bring myself
I have some clothes I couldn't bring myself to wash, because they were too embarrassing to show.
Are they the same thing?

"Bring myself" is natural. "Get myself" sounds foreign, probably because it sounds like the speaker wasn't aware of "bring myself".
