Our country still experiences crisis. Since it gained its independence from other countries, poverty, prostitution, crimes, and corruption have been its main enemies, but because it is a nation of dedicated people, we Filipinos can overcome these struggles. Like Cambodia, the Philippines has cases of prostitution which continue to increase, but the government works hard to solve these. Laos, well-known as a “poverty-overcomer,” is a country from which we have inherited our passion for eradication of poverty. We Filipinos are industrious in the field of agriculture so as to improve the country’s economy.
