I am wondering if the sentences below are grammatically correct and have the same meaning.
(1) The theories don't need to be demonstrated.
(2) The theories need not be demonstrated.
(3) The theories need not to be demonstrated.
I have another question to ask you. I think the sentence below is not correct. Can you tell me why it is not? And correct it, please.

The sentences are just different arrangements of the verb (need) and the adverb (not) and a singular or plural subject. ) are probably the most natural. But the last is for one theory, not many.
