Could you proofread this paragraph about ideas?

Many people just give up when they can't come up with an idea no matter how hard they try. However, you can't just sit around waiting for a great idea to hit on you as if by some kind of magic. Similarly, it would be foolish to keep thinking about the same thing over and over, in vain. Mozart once said that he has never created anything completely original. This has a lot in common with the fact that a so-called "original" idea is actually nothing but the new combination of elements which already exist. The truth is that seemingly banal ideas can turn into the most creative ones ever, but not automatically. It's important to look at those ideas from different perspectives. You might sometimes need to let them sit for a while.
