0 Hi, there! 02br 02br 00I was wondering if anyone coud possibly check over my autiobigraphical/scholarship letter. Thank you very much! 02br 02br 05002br 02br 00----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02br 02br 00To whom it may concern, April 18, 2005 02br 02br 00In June of 2007, I will be a graduating student from Abbotsford Senior Secondary School. Seeing as my future plans entail my entering into a major university in North America, I intend to graduate from secondary school with high honors. My future occupational outlook includes my becoming of a community social worker. Thus, I plan to study the pre-requisite courses required for entrance into the Bachelor of Social Work program upon my immediate graduation from secondary school. Following the meeting of pre-requisites for the B.S.W program, I plan study courses necessary for a B.S.W. degree (SOWK 305, 310, 315, 316, 320, 335, 337, 400, 405, 415, 416, 425, and 440). By becoming a social worker, I will be enabled to help community members who face trouble to develop or rebuild necessary resources, which will allow them to meet life’s challenges. 02br 02br 00 From the beginning of junior high school to the present now, I have managed to obtain and maintain a 4.0 grade point average (G.P.A.). In fact, I have attained a 99% average for this term. Nevertheless, it requires extreme dedication to my studies and a wholehearted work ethic to both attain and maintain such a high G.P.A.. Making the sustaining of honor roll my personal goal since entering my post-elementary education, I discovered that academic success would lead to potential success in myself. While being consistently on honor roll in the United States and Canada for 3 years (7th grade – present), I have displayed a clear streak that I keenly hope to prolong into my post-secondary education. Throughout my scholastic career, my scholarly attempts and keen interest in my studies have assisted in the attaining of high marks and the achieving of academic awards of excellence. In Frank Lloyd Wright’s renowned quote, he states “I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen.” From this uplifting and inspiring quote, I have realized that success truly does lie in my hands. 02br 02br 00From my first summer job to my current position, the majority of my work and volunteer experience has involved children. From these deeply moving experiences, I have realized my potential to make a positive impact on a child’s life, which is exceptionally rewarding for me. Currently volunteering as a volunteer tutor for a 4th grade student, I have served as a responsible role model and instructor, which has proven to be an invaluable learning experience. Helping a child realize his or her own potential gives me a strong sense of accomplishment. I found this experience to be emotionally rewarding. 02br 02br 00Being involved in a number of extra-curricular activities, I have gained a new perspective into life. From the beginning of 10th grade, I have heavily engaged in the Scholarship Club, Multicultural Club, and Key Club. I have learned to value scholastic achievement, a prejudice-free and multicultural society, and aiding the needy on a global basis. From this attained understanding, my vision of becoming a social worker has been further strengthened with compassion, concern, and keen interest. 02br 02br 00Without a doubt, many years of high university tuition is an intense burden on my parents. I would be honored and grateful for whatever assistance you are willing to provide me. Your investment in me will be one which will not only assist me in the accomplishment of my personal goals, but an investment that will benefit our community, locally as well as the greater community of human kind. Thank you for your consideration. 02br 02br 00Yours Truly 010id1
