Could you please tell me how to turn these few sentences

How would you say these few sentences please?

1 She has nails longer than the average./She has longer nails than the average person.
2 I'd be more ashamed to introduce you to my mom than my dad.
3 Hating feeling this sensation I immediately opened my eyes.
4 I tried to keep these sensations as far as possible so as not to have to be reminded of my past.

1 Her nails are longer than average [remember, we use the verb 'be' rather than 'have' when talking about body parts, clothing, etc.]

2 than to my dad [than my dad = than my dad would be ashamed]

3 Too many words: go with "hating this sensation...."

4. Not sure about your meaning, here. [As far away as possible(?)]
