Could you please suggest some words for me? details? content?

Hi,

Could you please suggest some vocabaries for my sentence?
Can I just say too many/much?

Sentence:
Before the exam month, I found that it was very difficult to memorize all xxxxxx , because there were too many / much.
For example, there are 30 chapters in the module economics A.

Someone suggusts:
1) Details
2) chapter contents
3) content of chapters

However, I am not sure which one is good.

content in here is uncourtable, why do you use "many" not "much"?
